Older Adults Counselling
Older adults often navigate life experiences that bring reflection, change, and sometimes challenges that can feel difficult to face alone.
In my sessions, I offer a calm and supportive space where older adults can explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences without feeling judged or rushed. Later stages of life can bring transitions such as retirement, changes in health, shifts in family roles, grief, or feelings of loneliness, and having a place to talk openly can be deeply meaningful.
Together, we may reflect on life transitions, relationships, loss, identity, and the emotional impact of change. The work is guided by each person’s pace, helping them find clarity, reconnect with their strengths, and develop ways to navigate this stage of life with greater confidence and peace.
My goal is to create a warm and respectful environment where older adults feel heard, valued, and supported — a space where their life stories are honoured and explored with patience, curiosity, and care.
While this space has a focus on older adults, “adult counselling” includes people at all stages of adulthood.
You’re welcome to choose what feels right for you — either a general adult counselling session or an older adult counselling session when booking.
